About the Role

Who we are:

devx Labs is an AI-native consulting firm that fundamentally reimagines business operations around AI capabilities. We don’t just implement AI tools - we transform how enterprises operate through first-principles thinking and outcome-driven execution.

We combine the unbiased perspective of young, AI-native talent with seasoned practitioner insights to deliver transformative outcomes across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

The Role Outcome Manager:

As an Outcome Manager, you are the CEO of every engagement you own - sitting at the intersection of client business intent and AI Engineering delivery.

You define the North Star metric before a single line of code is written, ensure the architecture solves the real business problem, and turn delivered projects into renewed partnerships.

This is not a 'write user stories' role - you are the engagement's strategic nerve centre.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

Engineer Business Outcomes (35%)

  • Define measurable KPIs: Upfront with the client — e.g. 'Reduce L1 tickets by 40%' or 'Increase conversion by 15%'.
  • Own outcome-led acceptance: 'Done' means KPI moved, not feature complete. Every user story carries a measurable success condition.
  • Be theconsulting-to-solution sanity check: Bridge client needs and AI Engineering delivery; stop demos from becoming production liabilities.
  • Hold strategic guardrails: Say no to scope creep that dilutes the outcome and redirect clients back to value.

Drive Client Satisfaction (35%)

  • Own CSAT as a delivery discipline: Run structured milestone check-ins and treat negative feedback as a delivery bug.
  • Leverage AI tools: Accelerate requirements, sprint summaries, risk registers, and progress decks.
  • Run sprint ceremonies: Facilitate stakeholder reviews and retrospectives that keep team aligned and clients informed.
  • Escalate with recommendations: Surface blockers to Customer Success with a clear path forward, not just a flag.
  • Translate between AI Engineering and business stakeholders: Maintain full fidelity in both direction.

Contribute to Revenue Impact (20%)

  • Build the evidence trail: Document outcomes and transformation impact that justify continued investment.
  • Spot expansion opportunities: Understand the client's business well enough to see the next problem before they do.
  • Contribute to renewals:Leverage through CSAT scores, attainment data, and client relationships.
  • Build strategic roadmaps:Ground them in proven outcomes to create logical on-ramps to the next engagement phase.

Mentor & Multiply (Continuous)

  • Guide junior Outcome Managers:Support them on requirements craft, delivery discipline, and stakeholder navigation.
  • Share delivery playbooks: Build reusable frameworks and templates that make the whole team faster.
  • Champion outcome-first culture:Model obsessive focus on client KPIs in every interaction.

Requirements

Mindset & Approach

  • KPI-driven by default: Define success before code is written; refuse to close engagements that haven't moved the needle.
  • Trusted advisor DNA: Clients see you as a strategic partner, not a vendor — tell them what they need to hear.
  • Commercial awareness: Understand how engagements generate and protect revenue.

Delivery Superpowers

  • Multi-stream coordination: Manage requirements, risk, stakeholder expectations, and team alignment simultaneously.
  • AI-native fluency:Use AI tooling by default for requirements drafts, sprint summaries, risk models, and retrospective insights.
  • Process discipline: Create structure without bureaucracy — sprint planning drives efficiency, not paperwork.

Technical & Domain Depth

  • Cloud fluent: Understand compute, DevOps, and MLOps well enough to validate and challenge architecture choices.
  • Deep domain knowledge in at least one pillar: Customer Experience, Marketing Automation, AI-Ops, or Enterprise Architecture.
  • Ecosystem awareness: Know when to leverage devx's partnerships (AWS, GCP, Medusa, Fynd) and when a lift-and-shift is a prerequisite.

Experience

  • 2–6 years in Product Management, Management Consulting, Solution Architecture, or delivery-focused roles with demonstrable client impact.
  • Multi-stakeholder track record across technical and business teams, including C-suite stakeholders.
  • Understanding of India / SEA / Middle East business environments is a plus.
