AI-native Fullstack Developer

About the role:

• Build and own features end-to-end using AI-native development practices.
• You'll work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, leveraging tools like Claude Code and Cursor to deliver high-quality code ~10x faster than traditional development.
• This role is for developers ready to take ownership, work independently, and grow into technical leadership.

Feature Development (80%)

• Build complete features: UI components, APIs, database schemas, cloud deployments.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code using AI assistance (60–70% AI-generated).
• Integrate AI capabilities into applications (LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG systems).
• Debug production issues and optimize performance.
• Implement responsive designs from Figma with pixel-perfect accuracy.
• Deploy features to AWS/GCP using serverless or containerized architectures.

Ownership & Responsibility (20%)

• Own feature uptime, performance, and client satisfaction.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Improve engineering processes and tooling.
• Mentor SDE-1 developers on AI-native workflows.
• Estimate tasks accurately and deliver on commitments with minimal escalations.

Technical Foundation

• 2–5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript: Node.js, React, Next.js.
• Built and deployed at least 3–5 projects end-to-end.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud basics.
• Git proficiency: branching, PRs, merge conflict resolution.
• Basic DevOps: Docker, CI/CD concepts, cloud deployment.

AI-Native Development (Non-Negotiable)

• Must already be using Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools daily.
• Can demonstrate how you've used AI to accelerate coding, debugging, learning.
• Not afraid to let AI generate code - but know when to review critically.
• Excited about AI amplifying your capabilities, not replacing you.

Problem-Solving

• Can debug issues independently using AI assistance and documentation.
• Google + AI tools = your research workflow.
• Ownership mindset: problems are yours to solve, not pass up the chain.
• Learns new technologies quickly with AI-assisted tutorials and docs.

Communication

• Asks clarifying questions when requirements are unclear.
• Writes clear commit messages, PR descriptions, and documentation.
• Gives and receives code review feedback professionally.
• Comfortable on Slack/async communication with the team.
